Meet Martin Rosenberg

Martin Rosenberg is a recognized journalist and thought leader in the energy sector. He launched and led the U.S. Department of Energy, Office of Electricity “Grid Talk” podcast for four years, conducting 100 interviews that were downloaded 100,000 times around the world.

His freelance work has appeared in the New York Times, San Francisco Chronicle, Japan Times, and other publications. At Informa, he launched Icons of Infrastructure and the Energy Times. He organized and chaired Informa’s Empowering Customers & Cities event in Chicago in 2015, 2016, and 2017, and its Renewables Rush event in San Francisco in 2016 and 2017. He was editor-in-chief of EnergyBiz, a national publication covering the energy industry from 2004 to 2014. The magazine was repeatedly recognized as the best publication covering the “energy/utilities/engineering” sectors. He was a business writer at the Kansas City Star and worked for newspapers in Oregon, and was a Fulbright journalism scholar in Japan.
